Functional Medicine
New Functional Medicine practice in Evergreen, Colorado with board certified Family Medicine physician.

My name is Christine Phillips, and I am a board-certified Family Medicine physician based in Colorado.
My job is to partner with your primary care provider and other specialists who care for you to ensure that we are treating a whole person and not just treating you like a set of numbers and figures.
My vision for patient care is to foster an environment of supportive healing—taking time to listen to your symptoms, creating individualized treatment plans tailored to you, looking for root causes of disease, utilizing natural medicine that is backed by scientific data, and coaching you on critical lifestyle changes.
My practice utilizes advanced, next-generation laboratory testing and thorough medical records review. I am also here to help guide you through the traditional medicine space when necessary. It can be chaotic and confusing. Sometimes it feels impossible to know where you need to go and how to advocate for yourself

What is functional medicine?
Each individual has unique genetic, environmental, and lifestyle influences that determine a state of health or disease. By evaluating and treating these root causes of dysfunction, functional medicine provides a systematic framework for delivering personalized care that restores health. -Institute of functional medicine (IFM) statement on functional medicine
How I see functional medicine is spending the time discussing and addressing those nagging symptoms that do not seem to go away. If you have ever been told that you’re “normal” even though you feel anything but normal then functional medicine may be for you. Frequently Asked Questions
Do you take insurance?
Unfortunately, I do not. Most of the labs and other services are not reimbursed by insurance. I would be happy to send a superbill
How long does this take?
This is very individualized and there is no one answer. 6 months is the low limit of time I would expect for improvement. It is common and expected for healing to take longer than that. We will work together until we feel we have reached improvement or a plan for further care.
Do you have an office?
Yes! See our contact us page for the address
